I never ever kept in touch because quite honestly, it was too painful for me. However, I always had this little boy in my head, and the memory of my little friendship is one which I have held onto tightly and fondly throughout the years. Perhaps because I spent my life moving around so often, my way of coping was to hold onto the beautiful experiences I shared in my life with others. Yet another season. As I look outside my window I wonder how could all of this have possible occurred in what seems to me like a split second. The vibrant and nearly florescent green leaves of yesterday are suddenly dressed up in red, yellow and orange. The warm air of last evening has transformed into a wet, coolness that whispers to me that winter is just around the corner.
